Barbarian Queen (1985)
The 1985 cult classic Barbarian Queen is a low-budget sword and sorcery film that follows the story of a young woman named Amethea, who seeks revenge against the evil Lord Arrakur after he kills her family and enslaves her people. While the movie is known for its cheesy dialogue and over-the-top fight scenes, it also contains some surprisingly explicit sexual moments.
The movie begins with Amethea and her two sisters, Taramis and Kaira, being captured by Lord Arrakur’s men. As they are taken away, Amethea is stripped of her clothing and left in her underwear. Later, when Amethea is taken to Lord Arrakur’s castle, she is forced to watch as her sisters are raped by the evil lord’s men.
The movie also features a scene in which Amethea is forced to strip and dance for Lord Arrakur. As she dances, he leers at her and makes suggestive comments. This scene is particularly uncomfortable to watch, as it is clear that Amethea is being objectified and degraded.
The movie also contains a scene in which Amethea is taken to a dungeon and chained to a wall. Here, she is visited by a man who attempts to rape her. Fortunately, Amethea is able to fight him off and escape.
Overall, Barbarian Queen contains some surprisingly explicit sexual moments. While these scenes are uncomfortable to watch, they serve to highlight the power dynamics between Amethea and her oppressors, and the lengths to which she must go to survive and seek revenge.
