Sexuality is an important part of any movie, and the 2009 HBO series Hung is no exception. The show follows Ray Drecker, a struggling high school basketball coach who turns to prostitution to make ends meet. Throughout the series, Ray and his clients explore their sexuality in a variety of ways, from the explicit to the subtle.
The show begins with Ray's first client, Jessica, who is looking for a "no strings attached" sexual experience. Ray is hesitant at first, but eventually agrees to the arrangement. As the series progresses, Ray's clients become increasingly varied, from a married couple looking to spice up their sex life to a wealthy businessman who is looking for a more intimate connection.
In addition to the explicit sex scenes, the show also explores the more subtle aspects of sexuality. Ray's relationship with his ex-wife Tanya is a prime example of this. Despite the fact that they are no longer together, the two still share a strong physical connection. This is demonstrated in a scene where Ray and Tanya share a passionate kiss, despite the fact that they are both in relationships with other people.
The show also explores the idea of sexual identity. Ray's best friend, Lenore, is a lesbian who is struggling to come to terms with her sexuality. Throughout the series, she is shown struggling to find acceptance from her family and friends.
Overall, Hung is a show that is not afraid to explore the complexities of human sexuality. From the explicit to the subtle, the show does an excellent job of exploring the many facets of sex and relationships.
Episode 7 At the beginning, Lenore comes out of bed completely nude. Full frontal is shown for a minute
The premise of the series is a former athlete turned teacher/coach who's struggling to pay bills becomes a gigolo to make extra income. Nearly every episode has some form of sex/nudity (mostly female)
[Season 1]
This season also contain numerous scenes depicting sexual activity and related instances of nudity.
The depictions are mostly implied and the filming done at deliberate angles that obscure most of the details.
[Season 2]
Similar to the first season, the second season also contains numerous scenes depicting sexual activity and related instances of nudity. Several of these depictions are implied and the filming done at deliberate angles that obscure much of the details.
However, there are sex sequences in Episodes 3, 4 and 5 that are prolonged and impactful.
For example, in Episode 3, viewers see mid-shots and full-length shots of a blonde woman sitting on top of Ray and thrusting repeatedly while she moans and exclaims in pleasure.
Episode 4 contains a prolonged sequence where Ray provides his services to another female customer in the hotel room. He is seen to be humping the naked woman (her breasts and crotch are exposed) from the back repeatedly while she moans and requests him to sing her a birthday song several times.
