Aliens (1986)
The 1986 sci-fi horror classic Aliens is known for its intense action sequences, thrilling suspense, and iconic characters. But what many people don’t know is that the movie also contains some surprisingly sexual moments.
The first of these moments comes when the main character, Ellen Ripley (Sigourney Weaver), is in the shower. As she is washing herself, the camera pans up her body, lingering on her breasts and buttocks. This scene is not only titillating, but also serves to show how vulnerable Ripley is in this moment, as she is completely exposed and unaware of the danger that awaits her.
Another sexual moment comes when Ripley and the android Bishop (Lance Henriksen) are discussing the possibility of the aliens reproducing. Bishop suggests that the aliens may have a “sexual cycle”, and the camera cuts to a close-up of Ripley’s face, her eyes widening in surprise. This scene is not only suggestive, but also serves to show how Ripley is beginning to understand the aliens’ behavior.
The final sexual moment comes when Ripley and the marines are exploring the alien hive. As they enter, they are greeted by a giant alien queen, who is laying eggs. The camera lingers on the queen’s body, which is covered in slimy, pulsating eggs. This scene is both disturbing and sexual, as it shows the power of the alien queen and her ability to reproduce.
Overall, Aliens contains some surprisingly sexual moments that add to the movie’s overall intensity and suspense. These moments not only serve to titillate viewers, but also to show how vulnerable the characters are in the face of the alien threat.
There is no sexual content in this movie besides mild references.
There is a brief side shot of a locker that has a nude poster. Breasts are somewhat visible and possibly some pubic hair, though it's hard to tell.
Ripley is shown in a tank top and panties twice during the movie. She is seen in her underwear for about three minutes total.
Some of Ripley's pubic hair is briefly visible. She is wearing panties that don't completely cover her whole bush. It is entirely nonsexual. This is incredibly brief and very hard to see.
