Fantasm (1976)
Fantasm (1976) is a cult classic horror movie directed by Don Coscarelli. The movie follows a young boy named Mike who is haunted by strange visions of a tall man in a dark suit. As Mike investigates the mystery, he discovers a secret world of sex and violence.
The movie is filled with sexual moments that add to the tension and horror of the story. One of the most memorable scenes is when Mike discovers a secret room in the basement of the local mortuary. Fantasm features frequent nudity throughout with often close up shots of buttocks and breasts of men and women. Fleeting sights of a woman's vagina can be seen, but is heavily masked by pubic hair and shaving cream. There is sight of a man's flaccid penis; brief sight of his penis can be seen aroused, though, this is very brief and further masked by the surroundings. The sexualised scenes in the film are strong, but do not feature explicit elements, such as, graphic shots of penetration. There is brief suggestion in a swimming pool of penetration, but no real detail is seen that would make it explicit.
The entire film is based on, supposedly, sexualised fantasies of women and therefore contains varies scenes of a sexual nature. The sex and nudity is strong and frequent, and takes up more than half the feature's running time.
