The Reaping (2007)
The Reaping (2007) is a horror movie that explores the idea of a Biblical plague. It stars Hilary Swank as Katherine Winter, a former Christian missionary who has since become a professor of religious studies. The movie follows Katherine as she investigates a small Louisiana town that has been plagued by a series of strange events.
The Reaping contains a number of sexual moments that add to the tension and horror of the movie. One of the most memorable scenes is when Katherine and her assistant Ben (Idris Elba) are attacked by a group of locals. During the attack, Ben is forced to strip and is then sexually assaulted by the men. This scene is particularly powerful as it shows the vulnerability of the characters and the lengths to which the locals will go to protect their town.
Another sexual moment occurs when Katherine and Ben are in the woods searching for clues. They come across a group of people having an orgy and Katherine is forced to watch as they engage in sexual acts. This scene is particularly disturbing as it shows how the town has been corrupted by the plague and how far people will go to satisfy their desires.
