Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter... and Spring (2003)
Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter... and Spring (2003) is a South Korean film directed by Kim Ki-duk. It tells the story of a Buddhist monk and his pupil living in a small floating temple in a lake. The film is a meditation on the cycle of life, death, and rebirth, and it contains several powerful sexual moments.
The first sexual moment occurs when the monk's pupil, a young boy, is seduced by a beautiful woman. The woman is a prostitute, and she tempts the boy with her beauty and her body. The boy is drawn in, and the scene is both sensual and disturbing.
The second sexual moment occurs when the monk's pupil, now a young man, is tempted by a young woman. The woman is a thief, and she attempts to seduce the young man with her beauty and her body. The young man is tempted, but he resists her advances.
The third sexual moment occurs when the monk's pupil, now an old man, is tempted by a young woman. The woman is a nun, and she attempts to seduce the old man with her beauty and her body. The old man is tempted, but he resists her advances.
The fourth sexual moment occurs when the monk's pupil, now an old man, is tempted by a young woman. The woman is a prostitute, and she attempts to seduce the old man with her beauty and her body. The old man is tempted, but he resists her advances.
The fifth sexual moment occurs when the monk's pupil, now an old man, is tempted by a young woman. The woman is a nun, and she attempts to seduce the old man with her beauty and her body. The old man is tempted, but he resists her advances.
The sixth sexual moment occurs when the monk's pupil, now an old man, is tempted by a young woman. The woman is a prostitute, and she attempts to seduce the old man with her beauty and her body. The old man is tempted, but he resists her advances.
The seventh sexual moment occurs when the monk's pupil, now an old man, is tempted by a young woman. The woman is a nun, and she attempts to seduce the old man with her beauty and her body. The old man is tempted, but he resists her advances.
The eighth sexual moment occurs when the monk's pupil, now an old man, is tempted by a young woman. The woman is a prostitute, and she attempts to seduce the old man with her beauty and her body. The old man is tempted, but he resists her advances.
Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter... and Spring (2003) is a powerful film that explores the cycle of life, death, and rebirth. It contains several powerful sexual moments that explore the power of temptation and the strength of the human spirit.
A monk is attracted to a woman. She is standing in the water (clothed) and he approaches her (also clothed) and touches her face. He then begins to run his hand down the side of her cheek. When he reaches the upper part of her chest/shoulder she stops him from touching her further.
There is another scene similar to this one where the same man gropes the same woman's breast as she is sleeping. She quickly wakes up and slaps him. It should be noted that the man is a very naive monk who's mostly just curious and not in any way sexually predatory.
A woman falls in to the water. Her white full coverage panties and a little bit of her white full coverage bra can somewhat/barely be seen through her rather sturdy white dress.
A moderately long scene in which a monk is shown having sex between the legs of a woman. Only her bare arms, head, and legs are shown. He is shown laying on top of her completely nude. His bare head, back, arms, legs and buttocks are seen (no genitalia are seen in either characters). His hips are shown in a thrusting motion and a few moans are heard from him, and a couple of moans from the woman. Some shots are up close of their upper bodies in this position (again, no other nudity than what has been listed) and some shots are pulled back and seen from a distance.
After this sex scene, the couple are shown lying together with clothes laid on top of their bodies. There is no graphic nudity other than his bare chest as he embraces her in his arms.
There is another sex scene later on where the same couple is shown having sex in a boat. It is less graphic than the first scene, however.
