Un enfant de lumière (2009) is a French drama directed by Philippe Muyl. It tells the story of a young girl, Léa, who is sent to live with her grandmother in the countryside after her parents' divorce. The film follows Léa as she navigates her new life and discovers her sexuality.
Un enfant de lumière contains several scenes that explore the theme of sexuality. One of the most memorable is when Léa meets a young man named Thomas at a party. The two share a passionate kiss, and the scene is filled with sexual tension. Later, Léa and Thomas go skinny-dipping in a lake, and the camera lingers on their bodies as they swim and embrace.
The film also features a scene in which Léa and her grandmother discuss the importance of safe sex. This scene is important because it shows that the film is not afraid to tackle the subject of sexuality in a mature and responsible way.
Overall, Un enfant de lumière is a thoughtful and sensitive exploration of sexuality. The film does not shy away from difficult topics, and it is a great example of how to portray sexuality in a respectful and responsible manner.
Lucas, who is underage, is completety nude throughout most of the film. No attempt is made to hide his nudity, which includes clear, lengthy looks at his penis. There is one closeup as the camera focuses on wounds on his belly while he is lying down. One scene has him doing a sort of dance/monologue for minutes on end facing the camera as his penis wiggles throughout.
Although most of the film is included as one of three parts of the film Teenagers, there are more scenes here that don't appear in that longer (over 2 hours) film. These include more nudity, such as the boys playing badminton and petanque, all while Lucas is once again completely nude (save for his shoes), with many shots of his wiggling penis. Also, the sexual assault scene is not featured in Teenagers.
These are honest nude scenes in that there is no attempt to hide or disguise it or to make it seem distasteful by partially hiding the genitalia or brief exposure.
